QUILTING CLASSES
Quilting: Basics to Advanced
2. 1/2 hr class $ 45
Ready to get into Quilting? We take you through the design process, fabric and color choice, piecing basics, building the quilt, and the beginning of quilting either hand or by machine! A reemerging art form!
Course materials/supplies include:
Design paper and drawing tools, fabric, batting, sewing machine, pattern, thread & needle, scissors
If you have your own sewing machine feel free to bring it with you!
Foundation Piecing
2 1/2 hr class $ 45
The perfect piecing every time! Eliminate the need to measure and cut, rip out uneven seams, and long hours! You will discover the fun of foundation or "paper" piecing by creating your own block or using a pre-made pattern.
Course materials/supplies include: Foundation paper, fabric, sewing machine, 1/4" ruler, rotary cutter and mat, seam presser, thread and scissors
If you have your own sewing machine, feel free to bring it with you!
The Art of Applique
2 1./2 hr class $ 45
If you love the look of applique but aren't sure how they make it look so effortless and seamless, then this class is for you! We teach you the many ways of applique to achieve the perfect quilt design you have always wanted!
Course materials/supplies include:
Patterns, fabric, thread and needle, scissors, sewing machine, pattern paper, fusible web, non-melt plastic templates
